IntelliTec College, with campus locations in Albuquerque, Grand Junction, Colorado Springs, and Pueblo, has announced a new blended learning format for the Fall 2020 term. The new mixed learning format will allow students to have access to both an online curriculum that can be completed remotely, and in-person instruction that can be scheduled on-campus as needed.
IntelliTec has developed the new blended learning format for Fall 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Wayne Zellner, VP of Operations, said, “At IntelliTec, our students’ needs are our priority. We will do everything we can to ensure our students have the access they need to safe, quality instruction, both on-campus and online.”
To deliver on their mission of providing quality and excellence in career training, IntelliTec’s new blended learning format combines remote learning and in-person instruction. Many IntelliTec courses now have an online component, and can be started entirely remotely. This remote learning aspect gives students the benefit of studying when and where it works for them and their schedule. At the same time, IntelliTec is making it possible for students to access in-person instruction and work in a group setting on-campus as needed. Students will be able to schedule one-on-one time on campus with instructors, and there will be labs planned available on-campus.
IntelliTec’s blended learning format will allow students to get started immediately with online career training through their remote coursework, regardless of the present uncertainty surrounding in-person gatherings. Students’ health and safety concerns can be assuaged knowing they have control over when, where, and how often they come to campus for instruction. Individuals who do need in-person instruction will be able to arrange to do so safely and in accordance with all local, state, and federal health guidelines.
