The release also sees improvements in the PII Discovery Dashboard, introducing new HTML5 charts that provide insights into the data sources, including big data unstructured data and the categories of PII involved. These enhancements boost the transparency and management of data masking operations, facilitating more effective governance across varied data environments.
New built-in masking rules have been added to FieldShield V6, offering more sophisticated methods for email and national identification number masking, alongside enhanced numeric manipulation and format-preserving scrambling capabilities.
