Marble Boy is a new, exclusive clothing brand set up by Dundee based entrepreneur, Jamie Shankland and established artist, Ryan McPhail. Ryan has had a very successful art career to date, some of his shoe designs have been worn by Lily Allen and the Spice Girls, he has created album artwork for The View, painted movie sets and had some of his designs featured in the Marble Boy launch.Marble Boy is Jamie's second business venture. Jamie said he felt galvanised to get involved with local artists and help them showcase their talents after visiting the Duncan of Jordanstone Degree Show earlier this year, Jamie said after visiting the show he felt overwhelmed by the undiscovered artists who were finding it difficult to break into the market.

We are already being regarded as the next big thing and we want you to be part of it.” In the short time they have been trading the company has established a very active and popular Facebook page which has more than 1500 likes.
Jamie said he wants to create clothes that make his customers feel amazing, “We believe you should always look your best no matter the occasion and looking and feeling great is part of every day life. It just so happens we make the highest quality designer clothing. If you are like us and believe then we want you to be part of it.”
The brand currently has five unisex designs available for purchase from the Marble Boy online store. Jamie said he plan's to branch out into womenswear, childrenswear and accessories once the business takes off. The company is currently looking to take on more UK based artists who will get their work showcased and be paid handsomely.
