ICC Academy commits to excellence with enhanced EIC programme

October 25, 2018 /MarketersMEDIA/ -- The educational arm of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the ICC Academy, has unveiled an enhanced version of its flagship international trade certification, the Export/Import Certificate (EIC). The upgrade allows candidates to keep pace with the international trade landscape.

New updates, new functionalities

Updated features of the 2018 edition of the EIC include four hours of new video lectures; 15 case study videos; and 120 animated videos with narrated explanations.
Other updates to the ICC Academy’s flagship trade certificate include a more modern interface, refreshed visuals and videos, an integrated course glossary, a useful search function, a quiz-review dashboard, achievement badges and dynamic optimisation for tablet and mobile use.
Today, the EIC programme sees candidates from more than 60 countries. The course structure is designed to support the needs of companies working with international clients and suppliers. Its aim is to provide the knowledge, skills and professional credibility required for successfully managing an international business.

International recognition

The ICC Academy has been nominated for the London Institute of Banking and Finance’s (LIBF) 2018 Financial Innovation Awards. Shortlisted under the category “Innovation in Supporting Business or Enterprise” for our EIC programme, the prestigious awards programme celebrates customer service excellence in the banking and finance sectors.

EIC at a glance

Developed by trade expert, Guillermo Jimenez, the EIC includes 20 hours of interactive learning. Mr Jimenez also happens to be the author of the best-seller ICC Guide to Export/Import: Global Standards for International Trade. With five industry-backed e-courses — International Trade Overview, Business Transactions and Contracts, Financing and Security Devices, International Logistics and Sourcing and Global Business Management — the certificate programme allows candidates to understand the ins and outs of the export- import trade world.
