Current applications of the Headwind MDM platform span multiple sectors, including retail checkout tablets, rugged manufacturing scanners, logistics driver devices, and government operations requiring isolated internal infrastructure.
To address procurement challenges common in the mid-market, the company utilizes an alternative pricing framework rather than relying on recurring monthly subscriptions per device. Headwind MDM offers perpetual licensing for specific software versions. These licenses cover a defined number of devices and include a fixed period of updates, allowing customers to self-host the system without indefinite monthly billing cycles.
