-- Harish Narne has received a 2025 Global Recognition Award for his contributions to artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and enterprise computing, recognizing work that spans published research, cybersecurity-focused innovation, technical authorship, and participation in the international research community.
At the center of Narne’s work is a recurring question: how can advances in artificial intelligence and machine learning be applied to the complex systems organizations rely on every day while improving the way data is processed, protected, and used?
That question has shaped research ranging from generative AI and enterprise resource planning to secure data processing and real-time threat detection. It has also led Narne beyond academic publishing into cybersecurity-focused patent work, technical authorship, and the evaluation of research produced by other engineers and researchers.

Research and Innovation in AI and Cybersecurity
In “Generative Artificial Intelligence Device to analyze the data for SAP-based Data Management,” Narne examined the application of generative artificial intelligence to SAP-based data-management environments. The research considers how newer AI capabilities can be incorporated into established enterprise systems responsible for managing large and complex sets of business information.
Published through IEEE Xplore following the International Conference on Intelligent Computing and Emerging Communication Technologies, the paper has received 24 citations on Google Scholar.
Narne explored a related challenge in “AI and Machine Learning in Enterprise Resource Planning: Empowering Automation, Performance, and Insightful Analytics.” The work examines how artificial intelligence and machine learning can support automation, system performance, and the use of enterprise data for analytical insight.
The paper has received 32 citations on Google Scholar.
Together, the two publications illustrate the practical direction of Narne’s research. Rather than approaching artificial intelligence as a technology separate from existing computing environments, his work examines how it can operate within the enterprise systems organizations already use to manage information, automate processes, and support decisions.
That interest in intelligent systems also extends into cybersecurity.
One of his patent works, “Adaptive Threat Detection and Response System Utilizing Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for Data Security in Real-Time Environments,” focuses on applying AI and machine learning to the detection of security threats and the protection of data as events occur.
Another, “System and Method for Secure Data Processing Using Generative AI and Machine Learning Algorithms in Cybersecurity Applications,” addresses secure data processing through generative AI and machine-learning techniques in cybersecurity environments.
The two efforts build on the same idea found throughout Narne’s research: advances in automation and data processing need to be matched by equal attention to security and reliability.
Cybersecurity has also become a subject of Narne’s work beyond individual research projects.
He authored “Foundations of Cybersecurity: Principles, Practices, and Case Studies,” published by Chendur Publishing House on December 23, 2024. The 177-page first edition examines cybersecurity through foundational principles, practical approaches, and case studies.
The book broadens the perspective found in his research and technical work. While individual projects address specific applications of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data security, Foundations of Cybersecurity considers those issues within the wider discipline of protecting modern computing systems.
Contributing to the Research Community
Narne’s relationship with research has also developed beyond producing his own publications.
Drawing on the knowledge and perspective developed through his own work in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and enterprise systems, he has contributed to the evaluation of more than 100 research papers across international conferences and journals.
His reviewing activities include the International Conference on Recent Advances in Science and Engineering Technology (ICRASET) in India and the 7th International Conference on Advanced Communication Technologies and Networking (CommNet) in Morocco, along with additional conference and journal assignments.
Through this work, Narne contributes to the assessment of research produced by other scholars and engineers, applying his technical understanding to work spanning computing, communications, engineering, and related fields.
This role adds another dimension to his research profile. Alongside developing and publishing his own work, he participates in the broader process through which technical research is examined and evaluated within the academic and professional community.
A Broader Body of Work Behind the Recognition
Taken together, these activities show how the different parts of Narne’s work connect. His research examines how AI can improve enterprise technology. His cybersecurity-focused innovation addresses the security challenges that accompany increasingly intelligent systems. His book expands those ideas into broader technical knowledge, while his reviewing activity allows him to apply that knowledge in evaluating research developed by others.
It is this broader body of work that frames Narne’s receipt of the 2025 Global Recognition Award.
Paul Sakr, a judge panelist for Global Recognition Awards, said, “Harish Narne reflects the award's intention to acknowledge individuals whose work connects academic understanding with practical solutions, contributing to verifiable progress in the computing industry.”
For Narne, the recognition brings together several dimensions of his work across artificial intelligence, enterprise computing, and cybersecurity. Although those contributions take different forms—from research papers and patent development to technical authorship and the review of more than 100 scholarly works—the underlying direction remains consistent: applying emerging computing technologies to practical problems involving data, security, automation, and enterprise systems.
