Garageflex have launched a new service called DIY with Design. The service was created for those customers that want to do the installation themselves, the Do It Yourself (DIY) market. Some customers have found the extensive array of panels, track systems and accessories a little too difficult to navigate alone. This new service provides customers with access to Garageflex design professionals, who use the Garageflex in-house design software, to enable customers to create their own bespoke storage solution, for their residential garage. And with the use of this service, the cost of the final installation is a lot less than a full Gaargeflex makeover that would normally be carried out by the Garageflex professional installation team.

The full Design & Install service offered by Garageflex, to fit bespoke storage solutions in the garage, comes with a moderate price tag that not everyone can afford. To this end, Managing Director Alastair Broom wanted to offer customers the opportunity to create a garage to suit their lifestyle; without having to pay the full price. DIY with Design service was created to make the entire solution more accessible.

Customers that are planning to carry out a Garageflex installation can now talk to Garageflex design specialists about what they want to do with their garage, and take advantage of the Garageflex in-house design software to create a bespoke storage solution to suit their lifestyle. The design software helps them to visualise what the garage can look like once measurements and non-moveable objects, such as boilers, pipework and metres, have been added to the system. It is computer aided design software and can be adjusted and re-arranged easily to enable a full and clear representation of the completed garage to be visualised.

Once the customer is happy that the design meets their needs and requirements, a list of Garageflex items used in the design, such as Wall Cladding, Cabinets, Shelves and Bike Racks, can be purchased. Specific links are provided for every product to enable the customer to make an easy purchase via their e-store. Items are normally sent out within 48 hours for next day delivery, along with full installation instructions. The customer is then able to begin the installation of their Garageflex solution when they are ready.

And in the unlikely event that there are additional questions regarding the installation, the team from Garageflex are always contactable, to provide advice and answer those questions on the installation as the customer goes through the process.

The DIY with Design service is initially being launched as a free service. All customers need to do is visit DIY with Design Service and fill out the form. Alternatively, they can contact Garageflex to discuss their requirements and find out what options are available to them.
