Teaching Courses Offered Through NGO Funding —
Alexandra, Singapore, April 22, 2019 - Aspiring music teachers now have a chance to study required courses free through a non-government organization, this is according to a report by Alibaba Printing. As per the press release, New World Music Centre is now offering high school graduates who are dreaming big to become a music teacher can apply for a scholarship grant that will be awarded by an international organization.
The teaching courses will be offered at various music schools and training centres across Singapore. The scholarship grant is for high school graduates, college graduates, and music undergraduates 18 years old and above, preferably with the interest in violin, cello, and music fundamentals courses. Nevertheless, those who are interested in other instruments may also file their application through http://www.newworldmusiccentre.com.sg.
The said non-government organization will be receiving application for scholarship from May 1 to July 4 of this year. Requirements include formal letter of application in MS word format, a PDF file of scanned image of the applicant’s government-issued ID, jpg file of the applicant’s photo with white background and nameplate, and tax return report if the applicant is already employed. The application is online only and they will not entertain applicants who will visit their office personally. After the application process, those who will be picked after the first screening will have a music aptitude test, with dates to be announced soon.
