-- Built for the family of a fallen Ukrainian soldier, the home has been fully equipped with modern appliances provided by the two companies.
Located in Irpin, Kyiv region, the house was constructed using advanced 3D-printing technology in just 58 machine hours and completed, including interior furnishing and landscaping, within one year. The project was spearheaded by the charitable initiative United for Help, led by the Embrace the Nation Charitable Foundation, 3D construction firm 3D UTU, and the Irpin City Council, with support from over 100 Ukrainian businesses.
The home was built on the same site where the Berezov family once lived before it was destroyed in early March 2022 by enemy shelling. After the family evacuated Irpin, their home was completely demolished by repeated attacks. Following the liberation of the region, Yaroslav Berezov, the head of the family, joined the military and was killed while defending Ukraine on the eastern front.
“This is more than a construction project - it’s a statement of strength, unity, and renewal,” said Inna Furman, head of the Embrace the Nation Charitable Foundation and CEO of 3D UTU.
“By using cutting-edge 3D technology, we are not only building faster and better but also sending a message: while Russia attempts to destroy, Ukraine is rebuilding smarter and stronger. And just before the house was completed, the family welcomed a new baby. This new home marks the beginning of a new chapter."
As part of their contribution, Foxtrot and Haier outfitted the home with 15 essential household appliances, including built-in kitchen appliances, a washer, dryer, TV, and small household devices.
“Dreams shattered by war are being restored with innovation and compassion,” said Vitaliya Goncharova, Director of Haier Ukraine. “This home is more than concrete and appliances - it’s a space where a family can heal, grow, and feel safe again. We are proud to support them.”
Oleksii Zozulia, CEO of Foxtrot, added: “Foxtrot has always stood for innovation that improves lives. Supporting this project reflects our commitment to rebuilding Ukraine—not just with technology, but with care. It was an honor to bring warmth and comfort back into this family’s life.”
The project sets a precedent for future reconstruction efforts in Ukraine. With its speed, cost-efficiency, and safety standards, 3D-printing technology is poised to play a major role in rebuilding housing and infrastructure across the country in the years ahead.
