Packing for travel doesn’t always seem bad, but travelers know all too well the hassle of dealing with dirty clothes. Many have resorted to purchasing separate luggage or even using hotel trash bags in an effort to keep clean clothes separate from the dirty ones. Rather than focusing on convoluted tech features like USB chargers or collapsible closets with wheels, the Flipside design addresses one of the oldest travel frustrations— managing dirty clothes while on-the-go.
“When searching for a new carry-on I was surprised to find that no one offered the basic function of separating your clean and dirty clothes within your suitcase, I really thought someone was just sleeping on the patent, but after a search turned up nothing to support that I decided to design a solution,” says founder and CEO Rob Ferretti on the inspiration behind the project. "Flipside was created out of a desire to simplify traveling by keeping your clean and dirty clothes separated, there should never be a need to come up with your own custom solution to do what your luggage should already do."
FlipSide Luggage is a patent-pending product with the only suitcase design that allows for the full capacity of the suitcase to be filled with any ratio of clean vs dirty clothes due to its dual openings and movable center partition. This means no clothing storage space is lost, and dirty clothes are kept separate and away from the clean ones.
