A diverter controls water between the overhead shower head and handheld shower. Either outlet can operate separately, or both can run together with the available water flow divided between them. A 5-foot shower hose is included for the handheld shower.
In addition, brass is used for the shower column, shower arm, diverter, and fittings. The showerheads are made from ABS and feature silicone nozzles. Polaris 2 requires only 1.5 inches of clearance above the shower outlet. According to Fennocasa, installation can take about 20 minutes without special tools.
