-- Fennocasa, a bathroom fixture company, offers the Polaris 1 as a renter-friendly rain shower system that can update an existing shower while limiting permanent changes to the bathroom. It combines a rain showerhead and handheld shower in one setup, connects to the existing shower outlet, and works with the current single-function mixer valve without requiring changes to plumbing inside the wall. Its lower wall mount can also use a 3M adhesive strip as a non-drilling option, with screws and anchors available as an alternative.
The spokesperson stated, “Our approach is to work with the existing bathroom setup, giving users both rain shower and handheld functions without requiring changes to the plumbing behind the wall.”
Fennocasa provides the Polaris 1 rain shower system for rental bathroom installations. The system includes an 8-inch rain showerhead and a handheld shower. Its retrofit approach reflects the broader renter-friendly design of Fennocasa's Polaris shower systems, which work with existing shower connections while limiting work behind the wall. Renters should still follow any property-owner or lease requirements before making fixture changes.
The rain showerhead is made from stainless steel and includes silicone nozzles. The handheld shower connects to a five foot hose. Its holder allows the height and angle of the handheld shower to be adjusted. The shower column and shower arm are made from brass.
In addition, a diverter controls which shower outlet receives the water. Users can select the rain showerhead or the handheld shower depending on the required function. Both outlets can also operate at the same time. When used together the available water flow is divided between them.
The spokesperson added, “Our aim is to provide rain and handheld shower functions through the existing shower connection while keeping the plumbing already in place.”
By offering the Polaris 1 with a non-drilling lower mounting option and compatibility with existing shower plumbing, Fennocasa addresses practical needs in rental bathrooms. The system provides a way to add rain and handheld shower functions while keeping permanent bathroom alterations limited.
