Fanfare has announced the imminent launch of its first app, calling it ‘ — the omni-channel missing link between fans and brands’. To be released on 17 August 2017, it aims to set a new trend for content sharing platforms.
Users will watch exciting videos, win exclusive prizes from their best-loved brands, and share the things that excite and inspire them with their social networks.
The Fanfare app will be available for both Android and iOS. Brands will be able to engage and activate their fan community in a novel way, creating viral campaigns and using gaming elements to reward fan-created video content with exclusive prizes.
The full product launch follows a successful open beta that attracted over 20,000 users. The official launch offers richer features, including a redemption store for won diamonds, and improved social media interactions, for brands to reach and influence fans like never before.
The app offers the ability to watch “snack sized” videos about brands, helping keep users engaged. Giveaways, loyalty schemes and the ability to create ‘brand ambassadors’ can help businesses build loyalty and trust with customers, and champion influencers as a way to circumvent the growing ‘content crunch’.
The app is also gamified to encourage content creation for brands. Users can earn reward ‘diamonds’ for actions, so the more users post, like and share videos, the more diamonds and experience points they get.
All this is underpinned by an intuitive marketplace: the app provides a social commerce platform for fans to buy items featured in their followed feeds “on the spot”, creating an effortless shopping experience.
