Founded by entrepreneur and strategic consultant Julien Uhlig, EX Venture Academy operates with a mission to develop the next generation of founders through practical, impact-driven learning. “At EX Venture Academy, we skip the case studies and build the skills and mindset you need to lead in the workplace of the future,” said Uhlig.
Unlike traditional academic programs, EX Venture Academy places participants directly into operational roles within early-stage ventures. These include working with companies such as Zero X, which focuses on sustainable waste-to-energy solutions, Gemino AI, an automation and intelligent workflow platform, and LIV Urban Sanctuary, a wellness and lifestyle brand. As part of EX Venture’s growth, activities are now expanding to the Canary Islands, Spain, further strengthening the company’s international presence alongside its established operations at SpinLab in Leipzig, Germany. These partnerships provide the foundation for experiential learning, enabling participants to contribute to real-world outcomes while receiving mentorship from active professionals in the field.
The program is structured to mirror startup operations – fast-paced, dynamic, and outcome-oriented. Participants work alongside AI developers, marketing strategists, and product engineers, learning to navigate both the creative and technical challenges of venture building. “We don’t run the program from a whiteboard, we run it like a startup: fast, hands-on, and focused on results,” said Lisette, a program leader at EX Venture Academy.
