"I think the main benefit is that it doesn't cause the same amount of sensitivity as other types of bleaching, which I think most people know dehydrates the teeth. This particular formula does not do that," Dr. Downing said.
"When you dehydrate a tooth, it does affect the nerve of the tooth," Dr. Downing added, “and it does cause sensitivity at the time and for up to a week or so later. It can just be a bit unpleasant when you're having your teeth bleached, so Natural Plus teeth bleaching has a formula that introduces a desensitizing agent to the nerve, and therefore makes the experience much more pleasant."
