-- Dodford Manor, an award-winning barn wedding venue set amongst the backdrop of the Leicestershire countryside, has relaunched, opening its venue to celebrations following recent closures. Booking an event with the venue includes access to multiple restored barns of different sizes, as well as the extensive courtyards and rustic grounds within the estate’s borders.
Surrounded by more than 20 acres of Leicestershire countryside, and including carefully landscaped courtyards and Grade II listed restored barn buildings, Dodford Manor offers a private and exclusive location for weddings of all sizes. The team at the Leicestershire barn venue will also work with guests to cater the venue to a range of personal touches, including their own chosen decorations.
The Manor has an extensive history, including being owned by the half-brother of William the Conqueror, and the grounds include all manner of historical landmarks. The manor itself is a Georgian Grade II listed family home, including a restored 1680s Threshing stone barn and a 1790s Dairy Barn, all situated amongst the ancient hunting and deer park. Many of the historical features of the original buildings remain on the estate, too.
As well as offering access to the venue, booking a wedding with Dodford Manor can also include additional services such as bespoke catering and service. The venue offers an entirely no corkage service. Instead, they allow for flexible drinks service with three options, allowing guests to supply their own, to order drinks from the Manor’s own cellar, or to choose their own drinks package, all without additional corkage fees.
The Manor has won multiple awards, including regional awards from the Wedding Industry Awards for three years, Best UK Wedding Venue from The UK Wedding Awards, and Wedding Industry Experts awards. The venue is designed to offer not only traditional country and farm weddings, but outdoor weddings, family-friendly weddings, big weddings, intimate weddings, and weddings for all times of the year.
