Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants Create New Franchising Opportunities For First Responders

Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants now has over 600 locations across the US, and the company is on the hunt for heroic franchise owners to help transform the future of the fast-casual barbecue chain.

Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants has today announced a new draft of franchising opportunities as part of its continuing expansion throughout the US. The company is looking to further augment its presence in key states while establishing themselves in new target areas. The company is looking for the best of the best to take up the offer, and as such, is offering a 33% discount on the franchise fee for first responders.

Thanks to Dickey’s BBQ’s charitable organization, Barbecue, Boots & Badges, all first responders nationwide are being offered $5,000 off the initial Dickey’s Barbecue Pit franchise fee, a discount of 33%. First responders have been identified as having the ideal mix of bravery, responsibility and dynamism that has made some of the most successful existing franchisees in the company.

This offer is open to law enforcement, firefighters, and EMTs looking for a change of career, that offers full support for a range of new challenges, and gives them all the preparation and resources they need to succeed in operating a Dickey's Barbecue Franchise.

Roland Dickey Jr., CEO of Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants, explained, “This week is National Police Week. Police, firefighters, and EMTs risk their lives on a daily basis for the good of their communities, and it is understandable that those people may wish to choose another path after many years of diligent service. We want franchisees who play an active role in the community, who command respect, and who are used to high-pressure environments. First responders have all these innate qualities, making them perfect candidates. That’s why we are offering a real incentive to first responders, to help us grow Dickey’s the right way.”
