Dickey’s Barbecue Pit CEO Roland Dickey, Jr. Celebrates Record-Breaking Holiday Feast Sales

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit has sold more holiday feast meats than ever before, thanks to a special range of delicious smoked, barbeque and cured turkeys and hams that make the holidays easy.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit CEO Roland Dickey, Jr. has cause to celebrate this holiday season. His chain of barbecue restaurants, one of the fastest growing in the country, has made the holidays easier for record numbers of people. They have exceeded last years’ holiday feast sales by 25 percent, with forecasts suggesting they will sell more than 365,000 pounds of holiday turkey and ham by the end of the month.

Roland Dickey, Jr. felt it was important to offer guests the possibility of a hassle free holiday without losing the charm and comfort of home-cooked classics. As such, he put his nationwide network of slow smokers to work to create delicious traditional meats that are ready to heat and serve. The offer has been so popular that Dickey’s has restocked holiday supplies in order to sufficiently fulfill customer orders for the remainder of the holiday season.

Dickey’s makes it easy to host a hassle-free holiday gathering, with an easy and convenient online ordering system. They offer a range of turkeys, from Cajun fried to smoked, together with barbecue honey hams and full holiday feasts are available. Individuals can order online right up until December 24. Dickey Jr. has also called for a step up in production for the remainder of the holiday season. As of Monday, December 21, individuals will be able to submit a holiday order requiring only one-hours’ notice.

The full holiday feast includes traditional cornbread dressing and gravy, baked potato casserole, green beans with bacon and Dickey’s signature buttery rolls. The holiday feast feeds 10 – 12 people. Big Yellow Cup Club loyalty program members will also receive special holiday discounts.
