Miami-based electronic music outfit ZRH is making waves in the music world with the release of an independent debut album, "Shirtless," and an upcoming single, "Clue."
ZRH (pronounced “Zurich”) is the solo project of fitness instructor, writer, and musician Zach Ryan Haller, known for his exceptional contributions to the fitness industries in Miami, Chicago, and Seattle as well as the Chicago startup scene. Recorded in collaboration with composers Alex English and Bryan Lash, Haller writes, records, performs, and co-produces all of the album's music. English is a Miami-based record producer and engineer with over 573M streams who co-produced 7 of the album’s tracks. Bryan Lash is a prolific Seattle-area record producer, drummer, and songwriter who collaborated with Haller on 3 tracks.
Haller's journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. Named to the Windy City Times' 30 Under 30 list in 2014, he has made a significant impact in the fitness industry and has been a driving force in local startups. As a Startup Leadership Program fellow, he demonstrated his commitment to innovation and excellence.
While his talents extend across various domains, Haller's true passion lies in music. A lifelong musician with a penchant for trumpet, vocals, and music mixing, Haller has previously garnered media attention in Chicago with his remixed original playlists designed for fitness classes. He achieved remarkable success in his youth, winning two national drum & bugle corps championships.
ZRH is now ready to captivate the music world with "Shirtless," their debut album and solo project. Collaborating with composers Alex English and Bryan Lash, Haller takes on the roles of songwriter, performer, and co-producer, showcasing his versatility and musical prowess. While the project goes by the initials ZRH, it is pronounced as "Zurich," a nod to the Zurich airport code.
"Shirtless" is a dynamic album that spans 33 minutes and features nine tracks, each exploring different musical styles, from electronic dance to funk. One of the standout tracks is the English-language reggaeton anthem "Rendezvous," co-produced by the talented Spanish-born composer Alex English. Seven tracks on the album were composed and co-produced in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, by Alex English. At the same time, Bryan Lash collaborated with Haller on previous singles, "Too Soon" and "D&D," produced in Seattle, Washington.
This groundbreaking album was produced by a three-man team of independent artists, offering a fresh and original sound that transcends genres. "Shirtless" is not just an album; it's a musical journey that promises to keep listeners on their toes. Haller also plans to incorporate his original music into live music fitness classes in gyms throughout the Fort Lauderdale area, creating a unique fusion of fitness and music.
