Credit Versio’s partnership will not only support the launch of the new HBCU sports themed streaming service, but they’ve also provided a financial literacy program focused on credit reports and scores within the app. This cross-platform approach will reach tens of millions of viewers who passionately follow HBCU events and are excited to have unique access to HBCU bands. —
“Credit reports and scores play an important and growing role in our daily lives. It’s essential to understand how credit affects us on a personal level,” says David Michalek, credit expert and Chief Brand Officer of Credit Versio. “When banks, insurance providers, utility companies, and even employers look at our credit report, you can see how important it is to have great credit.”
The partnership includes the ‘How to Win the Credit Game’ and ‘The Complete Guide to Great Credit’ videos on the HBCU League pass streaming network. Taught by experts from the credit industry, including FICO and Equifax, both courses are airing free through Roku, Amazon Fire, Apple TV, Samsung TV, iOS, Android, and other outlets.
“This partnership with Credit Versio helps to solidify our commitment and holistic approach to the HBCU community.” said Mr. Todd F. Brown, Chief Executive Officer of HBCU League Pass. “The African American culture has really needed this type of financial literacy access and Credit Versio has stepped up in a big way to provide the much-needed information in a clear and direct way,” he added.
About Credit Versio
Credit Versio is the first of its kind software designed to find mistakes and unfair accounts on credit reports and guide the user through the process of correcting and improving their credit score. “Even though Credit Versio is a powerful tool to help correct past credit troubles, our mission is to preempt this altogether by providing credit education. Knowing how credit reports and scores work can prevent people from unwittingly damaging their credit which will negatively impact them for years,” adds David Michalek.
