ColdProof has just launched on Kickstarter. They have brought on Funded Today to help bring their product to a wider audience and increase pledges for the duration of the campaign. —
ColdProof is a light, portable self-regulating heating pad using NASA technology that is USB powered. It is flexible so that you can wear it underneath your jacket and unidirectional to let the heat be delivered in the right direction. It can be used while skiing, snowboarding, hunting or even at sports events.
ColdProof is 11 x 9 x .25 inches, made of PTC ink and has 1 layer insulation. The targeted temperature is 113 degrees Fahrenheit. It operates up to 5-10 hours by a 10,000mAh battery and is water-resistant. Most importantly, ColdProof is TUV SUD certified.
Each ColdProod Pad includes standard USB connectors, one USB extension cable for longer reach, a Unilateral heat and built-in heat regulation.
