-- Coinmico, an independent cryptocurrency market data platform, today announced the general availability of its Android app on Google Play, alongside a set of market indicators that the company computes from its own measured data rather than from third-party feeds.
Unlike most crypto price apps, which display figures licensed from the same few aggregators, Coinmico runs its own indexers. The platform currently tracks more than 2,500 assets and 28,000 markets across centralized exchanges and on-chain protocols, and decodes roughly four million swaps a day directly from liquidity pools on 21 blockchains. Prices on the app are drawn primarily from Coinmico's volume-weighted index across those venues, and the company publishes where its measurement stops.
"People check a crypto price several times a day without knowing where the number came from," said Nasih Nurasih, founder of Coinmico. "We built the app so that the price, the alert and the market reading all trace back to data we measured ourselves and can explain."
What the app includes
- Live prices and charts for every asset in the Coinmico index, including intraday candles and historical ranges.
- Price alerts that trigger on the Coinmico index price, so an alert is not set off by a single exchange's outlier print.
- Watchlist and portfolio with live profit and loss, synced with the same account on coinmico.com.
- Market indicators: a Fear & Greed index and an Altcoin Season score, both computed from momentum, volatility, breadth, turnover and dominance measured on Coinmico's own data, with each component shown.
- Data hub covering total market cap, 24-hour liquidations, spot ETF flows, derivatives funding and open interest, and whale positions.
- News linked to coins, so headlines appear next to the assets they concern.
The app is available in English and nine other languages, including Indonesian, Spanish, Portuguese, Turkish, Vietnamese, German, French, Russian and Chinese, and supports light and dark themes.
Free, with no account required
All features of the app and the website are free to use. An account is optional and is only needed to sync a watchlist, alerts and portfolio across devices. Coinmico does not sell tokens, operate an exchange, or take commissions on trades.
Methodology in the open
Coinmico publishes a public methodology page describing how each figure is produced, how often it is sampled, and which assets still rely on fallback data. Where a number cannot be measured, the app shows a dash rather than an estimate.
