CNI College Celebrates National Surgical Technologist Week in September

The nationally-recognized education organization CNI College helps recognize surgical techs during the week of September 20-26, 2015. The California-based institution offers a full range of health-oriented career fields.

CNI College announced recently that it will be celebrating National Surgical Technologist Week on behalf of the many students enrolled in the college’s surgical tech program. A fun and informative lineup will greet students in the classroom, with guest speakers, humorous surgical tech masks, and spirited play of the classic “Operation” board game.  National Surgical Technologist Week runs from September 20th through the 26th, 2015. “To honor the students and the surgical techs who came before them,CNI has chosen to acknowledge this special occasion,” says Pierre De’ Angelo Young, CST Program Director of CNI College. “The celebration is meant to be fun, but will also engage the students’ minds with career-related speakers and other events throughout the celebration week.”

The school rigorously prepares its students for successful careers in healthcare fields.  “CNI’s commitment in education extends far beyond the classroom,” adds Young. “Hands-on learning in the labs and opportunities for personal growth are the cornerstone of the school’s methods for instructing tomorrow’s healthcare leaders.”  Accreditation from the leading allied healthcare boards and associations ensure that the knowledge passed on to students adheres to the highest standards in post-secondary education.  CNI’s core values of personal integrity, educational excellence, and community goodwill give students the tools and the techniques they will need to succeed in their chosen career paths.

Established in 1994 as a vocational educational center for allied health professions in Santa Ana, California, CNI College moved to the City of Orange in 1997 and grew rapidly from there.  The school now serves the post-secondary educational needs for nearly 1000 students in a range of career healthcare programs, including surgical techs as well as massage therapy, pharmacy technician, and MRI technologist certifications. CNI College prides itself on the community spirit it maintains throughout its many programs, offering the students the latest technology and laboratories in addition to an advanced online library database with access to thousands of digital information resources.
