117 years ago, Willis Carrier engineered one of society’s most ingenious inventions: the modern air conditioning system, changing the world with improved air quality and comfort levels! Today at least 84% of houses in the United States have some sort of air conditioning system. Choate’s Air Conditioning, Heating, and Plumbing was recently awarded the Top IAQ and Top Infinity awards, recognizing their commitment to providing the highest indoor air quality and most efficient systems to customers in the Mid-South. Carrier also highlighted Choate’s excellence in customer satisfaction, company performance, brand loyalty, and employee training with the Dealer of Year and Golden Oval awards. More than 500 dealers were included in this year’s consideration set, so to be one of just five recognized is a true honor.These awards recognize our indoor air quality sales, financing, e-commerce usage, marketing, and technician training, as well as incremental increases in product installations and support services. In every category, Choate's popped to the top of the list, thanks to our incredible team and customers. The Carrier President’s Award is the highest dealer honor and is designed to encourage self-analysis, rewarding individuals who have exceeded high expectations, not only as a Carrier dealer but also as one of the Carrier Factory Authorized Dealers, who are held to an even more exacting set of standards. Carrier awards this honor to deserving dealers to support business improvements and show gratitude for their customer loyalty. Recipients serve as role models, sharing “best practices” to help cultivate excellence across the dealer groups.
At the event, Chris Choate remarked, “My family and I are proud to accept this award. It is the top of the industry and I never dreamed that we would ever have such an honor to be chosen for it. My Dad who would have been 95, would have also been proud. Some of the last words he spoke to me were “Son, I never said to be the best, I said to do your best! Thank you, everyone, for doing your best.”
