July 23, 2019 - /PressAdvantage/ - Bridgeview, Illinois based Imperial Crane Services, Inc is pleased to announce that Scott Lutes will be taking over management of the company’s Indiana office. Lutes will assume managerial duties upon the retirement of their current manager, Larry Gedmin.

The Chicago crane company offers hundreds of different crane options to customers throughout the country, and have earned a distinctive reputation for offering equipment of the highest quality. Their equipment is complemented by qualified operators who guarantee their customers’ satisfaction and the safety of their projects.

After working at Imperial Crane for over 50 years, showing great commitment and passion for his work, Gedmin asserts that he will be moving on to enjoy the much-deserved rest, peace, and convenience of retirement. Having worked for so long with the company, Gedmin (also known as 'Whitey’) has been instrumental in its success, as the office under his management has performed an impeccable and outstanding job.

As Gedmin approaches his last day at Imperial Crane Services, his coworkers have been bidding him farewell and expressing their best wishes to the company veteran. They say, "He has been a great leader throughout his years in the company. He has handled the most difficult situations masterfully, without losing his composure a single time. While it's sad to see him go, we all wish him the best and hope he can find the rest he hasn't been able to over the past few years."

His successor, Lutes, has been with Imperial Crane Services for over two decades, showing great affinity for the rigors of leadership and decision making. Having started out as an operator in 1996, he is a 3rd generation local operating engineer who has demonstrated his capabilities and knowledge, which has enabled his quick ascension within the company. In 2007, Lutes was the project manager at BP Whiting Refinery for the largest project that Imperial Crane has completed, with over 100 pieces of equipment and 280 operators over the course of four years. He is currently engaged with project development, along with assisting Chris Joseforsky with turnarounds.

Lutes says, "While it is not possible to fill the void that Whitey has left within the company, I will do my best to try. He has done so much for us that we could simply not ask any more, so we simply resign to wish him the best and try to make him proud. He is an outstanding man, and I hope to be able to fulfill the expectations that he has of me—and take proper care of the office he has done so much for."

Imperial Crane Services asserts they have taken every measure necessary to ensure that the transition is as smooth as possible, maintaining the excellent service that their clients have become accustomed to. Smooth customer service is emblematic of the company’s commitment to their clients, and this contributes greatly to their stellar reputation.

Alongside their expert team and high-quality equipment, another catalyst for the Chicago crane rental and sales company’s success has been the priority it places on workplace safety. Imperial Crane has made safety one of their primary concerns since their inception, and their success in implementing the best safety practices is what sets them apart from their peers in the industry. Furthermore, John Bohne, President and CEO of Imperial Crane Services, asserts, "At Imperial, safety isn’t a slogan, it’s the way we do business. Imperial Crane is ranked as one of the top 25 crane rental companies, according to the ACT (American Crane & Transport), and we sure do everything to show why we are regarded as such. Our clients speak of our excellence and commitment to fulfilling their projects effectively, but safety is also another one of the important aspects that defines our company—an aspect without which our other operations would be impossible."
