CHEN is an innovative padlock designed for travelers. The smart lock attaches to suitcases and allows users to track their bags anywhere in the world. The lock features a metallic strap made of steel and a silicone outer molding, and comes equipped with weighing capabilities to pre-weigh luggage before it arrives at the airport. CHEN is smaller than a smartphone, but can handle up to 70 pounds of resistance. The lock opens via Bluetooth with a smartphone enabled app.

CHEN is available to back now on Kickstarter. The company is hopeful they will see an increase in pledges with the help of Funded Today. Once the campaign ends, CHEN is set to be produced and shipped to all backers worldwide by December 2017. The starting price for one unit is $97.
