In March of this year the IRS took possession of the Leawood home in the neighborhood of Hallbrook Farms, and the receiver hired Brown Button Estate Sales to host a sale in the property as a part of the continued efforts of asset recovery. The sale will run from June 28th through 30th and will feature modern furniture, original artwork, designer clothing and high end gym equipment. Brands include B&B Italia, Herman Miller, Jonathan Adler, Prada, & Coach, with original artwork by James Bearden, Zak Barnes, & Dave McQuitty.
With the national average estate sale bringing in only $11,730.93, according to a 2017 survey by EstateSales.net, the Tucker sale is expected to be a stand out, bringing in an estimated 4 to 6 times the national average. “Luxury estate sales in Leawood and Mission Hills always have a significant number of shoppers,” says Brown Button co-owner, Michael Fry, “but with this house and its contents featured so heavily in the Netflix series we expect hundreds of customers to be waiting in line when the sale opens on the 28th.” The sale is open to the public and will be open from 9am to 4pm on June 28th, 29th , & 30th.
