-- Bronx NHS to Host Free Homeownership Resource Fair on July 26
Event Offers Direct Access to Housing Experts, Financial Tools, and Grants for Bronx Residents
Bronx, NY — Bronx Neighborhood Housing Services (Bronx NHS) will host a Homeownership Resource Fair on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 1451 E Gun Hill Road, Bronx, NY. The event is free and open to the public.
The fair will connect Bronx residents with a range of housing-related resources and professionals, including mortgage lenders, legal advisors, housing counselors, and financial experts. Participants will receive practical information and direct support for purchasing a home, avoiding foreclosure, securing grants, and improving financial health.
The event includes two educational workshop tracks:
- First-Time Homebuyer Track – step-by-step guidance for new buyers
- Homeowner Empowerment Track – strategies for protecting and enhancing homeownership
“With over 80 percent of Bronx residents renting—and rent prices rising—we’re focused on creating a clear path to homeownership while also helping existing homeowners hold on to what they’ve worked hard to achieve,” said Gladstone Johnson, Executive Director of Bronx NHS. “This event is about stability, equity, and real solutions for Bronx families.”
Attendees can expect:
- One-on-one consultations with mortgage lenders, brokers, attorneys, and inspectors
- Access to down payment assistance programs, home repair resources, and clean energy upgrades
- Information on credit repair, estate planning, and budgeting
- Family-friendly activities throughout the day
The event is open to all Bronx residents and surrounding communities. While admission is free, advance registration is recommended due to limited workshop space.
