-- Jindong District of Jinhua City has launched the international cultural series “Fall in Love with Chinese Festivals”, kicking off with a vibrant Dragon Boat Festival campaign. The initiative teams up with overseas students and domestic content creators to present authentic local folk traditions to global audiences via international and youthful storytelling methods.
A featured short video Dragon Boat Festival Twist: Your Adventure Begins! records the team’s immersive cultural journey across Jindong. Participants tried local festive customs, including tasting seasonal delicacies and making signature square black rice zongzi on Poyang Ancient Street, learning Wu Opera, a local intangible cultural heritage, and experiencing traditional dragon boat culture in local villages, showcasing the vitality of age-old traditions.
Following the Dragon Boat Festival event, Jindong will launch more international cultural activities for traditional festivals including Qixi Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival, continuously sharing authentic and diverse Chinese traditional culture with the world.
