Old age is something that comes to us all, if we’re lucky. Unfortunately, aging comes with downsides, and many of these can cause older people to give up a measure of their independence. Fortunately, Brendoncare ( — http://www.brendoncare.org.uk/care/our-care-homes/knightwood) offers two bedroom apartments and bungalows for people to live within arm’s reach of care, without having to go into a full time residential care home. For those who require more support however, Brendoncare has now introduced a 20 bed room residential and respite home at their location in Knightwood Court.
The new facility will provide bright, clean and friendly facilities. Each resident will enjoy a private, ensuite room, while receiving personalised care tailored to their needs and requirements.
The facility is designed to provide the greatest comfort to those who cannot live independently in the homes provided at Knightwood (Brendoncare.org.uk/care/our-care-homes/knightwood), but want to benefit from the many other advantages of living in the community. Set in four acres of private landscaped gardens.
Carol Mayers, A spokesperson for Brendoncare explained , “We have been providing outstanding care to those living with us at Knightwood for a decade now, but there is always room for improvement, and there was a section of the older population who were not receiving the best care possible because they could not live independently with us. Now, we have created a new facility that will the same advantages of those in independent living, while still getting the help they need to live as comfortably as possible. This facility will give a new lease of life to a whole new section of the older community.”
