-- Branded residences have become one of the fastest-growing segments of global real estate. Once a niche concept tied to five-star hotels, the model now accounts for more than 700 schemes worldwide, with over 500 more expected by 2030. Buyers are drawn to the promise of turnkey living: world-class design, professional management, and the comfort of five-star services delivered at home.

According to data published by Idealista, cities such as Dubai, Miami, New York, London, and São Paulo are at the forefront, while Europe now represents 18% of the global market, hosting over 140 completed projects and a larger pipeline in the years ahead. Spain now ranks among Europe’s most active branded residence markets. The country now counts more than 2,000 branded units, with nearly 60% concentrated along the Costa del Sol. The number of projects has tripled in just four years, with another 1,200 units expected by 2027, particularly in the Balearic Islands and Madrid.
Several developers are driving this momentum. Sierra Blanca Estates leads Design Hills Marbella, Dolce & Gabbana’s first residential project in Europe. DarGlobal has partnered with Lamborghini, through Tierra Viva in Benahavís, as well as with Missoni on Marea, Interiors by Missoni, located in Finca Cortesin, Casares. Madrid is also joining the branded living arena, with projects tied to Mandarin Oriental, SLS, and Four Seasons, extending the trend beyond coastal enclaves.
Against this backdrop, Prestige Expo has introduced a distinctive model. Rather than relying on a hotel operator, the group created its own branded lifestyle with Tyrian Residences in Estepona. As the Costa del Sol’s first fully serviced beachfront residence, the project brings the “villa in the sky” concept: privacy and the scale of a detached home combined with hotel-like living. With architecture by Yodezeen, WELL-certified standards, and 1,400 m² of amenities, Tyrian marks an innovative step in branded living’s evolution on the coast.
The residences include apartments, penthouses, and duplex penthouses, conceived with open-plan layouts, high-end finishes and generous proportions. Interiors feature ceilings of 2.9 metres, living rooms extending up to seventy square metres, master suites of fifty, and cantilevered terraces projecting five metres toward uninterrupted sea views. Penthouses add super-garages for five cars with direct lift access and private solariums.
Prestige Expo stands alongside Spain’s leading developers, yet with an independent model that sets it apart. By introducing Estepona’s first beachfront branded-style residence, the group is pioneering both a new destination and a new vision for branded living on the Costa del Sol, one defined by innovation, integration, and long-term ambition.
