Blossom Bariatrics will have 8 former clients participating in their first 5K on Saturday, February 28, 2015. These clients have made huge changes toward living a healthier lifestyle thanks to Dr. Umbach and the Blossom Team.
Blossom Bariatrics is sponsoring these runners to enter and run in this year’s Las Vegas The Color Run™. Team Blossom Shirts will be made and a video will be shot and uploaded onto Blossom Bariatrics’ Youtube Channel highlighting all the fun. “This is just the first,” Dr. Tom explains, “and we also plan to sponsor and participate in other 5k races and have clients (and maybe some employees) run.”
As “The Happiest 5K on the Planet,” this year’s The Color Run™ is branded “The Shine Tour” and, according to its website, “Is designed to uplift and inspire runners to stand out from the crowd, sweat glitter, and continue to live their lives in a happy and healthy way. The Color Run™ 5K is “Less about your 10-minute-mile and more about having the time of your life,” and is an “un-timed race in which thousands of participants, or ‘Color Runners’, are doused from head to toe in different colors at each kilometer. With only two rules, the idea is easy to follow:
1. Wear white at the starting line
2. Finish plastered in color!
The fun continues after Color Runners complete the race with an unforgettable Finish Festival. This larger than life party is equipped with music, dancing and massive color throws, which create millions of vivid color combinations.”
