Babette's Cafe Puts Stronger Emphasis On Dinner Menu

Atlanta, Ga (October 8, 2014) – Chef Marla Adams, the owner of Babette's cafe announced on September 30th of 2014 that she will be cancelling Sunday brunch for good. This news came as a surprise because Babette's Cafe has been offering the popular Sunday brunch for over 22 years.

The Sunday brunch menu which consists of signature dishes such as Paris ham benedict, spinach and feta omelette, creamy cauliflower soup along with shrimp and grits will be no more. Surely these delectable flavors which Atlanta has become accustomed to will be missed. Babette's cafe will shift their focus to concentrating on delivering more of the French European dinner menus which has been equally appreciated over the years.

"It is with great trepidation and the utmost respect for all of you who have been my champions over the years, that I announce I am bringing our Sunday Brunch to a close. It is also with a little glee." said Chef Marla, the owner of Babette's Cafe. "I’m looking forward to CBS Sunday Morning in pajamas, Sunday afternoon dinner at my father-in-law’s home with my extended family and an occasional visit to church with my mother,"  added Marla Adams.

The last day for Sunday brunch will be on October 26, 2014. "I have worked almost all of our Sunday Brunches over the last twenty two years and though I still get a thrill patting out scones in the mornings, I would rather give dinner service my full attention, stamina and excitement," explained Chef Marla.

Babette's Cafe has been responsible for delivering the feeling of being in the French countryside to the greater metro Atlanta residents for more than 2 decades. Chef Marla has won several local awards and will continue to serve the locals; The only difference will be the absence of Sunday brunch.
