-- AUTODOC announces the expansion of its distributed logistics network across Europe with the addition of a warehouse facility in Ghent, Belgium. The development reflects a shift toward inventory placement closer to end customers within Western Europe. The Ghent facility complements the until then already existing network of 4 logistics locations with six, now seven warehouses.

The Ghent facility is positioned near major port infrastructure and forms part of a broader network of eight warehouses across the region. The location supports order processing and distribution activities across multiple European markets, especially France, the Netherlands and Southern Germany. It also supports stable parts availability in case of supply chain interruptions. The facility contributes to daily warehouse operations involving the movement of automotive parts, tools, oils and accessories.

Operational data for 2025 indicates that an average of 200,000 items departed all four warehouse locations each day. Inventory distribution across multiple sites allows product availability within closer proximity to customer locations. The approach aligns with ongoing changes in logistics infrastructure and regional supply chain patterns.

Alexandru Lazariuc, Technical Specialist for Auto Parts Selection at AUTODOC, provided the following statement: “Infrastructure adaptation reflects current market conditions and evolving logistics requirements. Inventory positioning closer to demand centres forms part of ongoing operational planning.”

The Ghent facility supports Western European order flows and complements existing warehouse locations across the continent. The logistics network operates alongside a catalogue that includes 7.8 million of automotive parts sourced from a wide range of more than 2,700 manufacturers and private label offerings.

The expansion forms part of broader operational activity across 27 European countries, where digital ordering and distribution processes continue to support automotive maintenance and repair needs thereby contributing to longer vehicle lifetimes and more sustainability.
