Mesa, AZ (August 1st, 2017) – For cancer patients, every day is a struggle to live.The flurry of information, the uncertainty and fear of the future, the mounting costs, the disruption of a once normal life—all these can take its toll on the body and mind. For the past 10 years, An Oasis of Healing has been working tirelessly to change that perception and to help patients heal from cancer.

The center’s comprehensive cancer care program also focuses on keeping the cancer away through a customized program designed to change the biochemistry of the body to cease the production of cancer-causing cells. For over a decade now, An Oasis of Healing has been in the business of restoring health to people with cancer and their loved ones.
Over the years, An Oasis of Healing has helped well over a thousand cancer patients and their families recover and begin their lives anew. As the center looks forward to more years of serving the community, it recently welcomed a new addition to the family—Dr. Mel Schottenstein.
Dr. Mel Schottenstein joins the medical team of An Oasis of Healing.
Schottenstein brings to the table an extensive and impressive academic and professional record. She earned her undergraduate degree at Harvard University, and then completed a master’s degree in bioethics from the University of Pennsylvania. She also has a naturopathic medical degree from Washington’s Bastyr University. She has trained in biological medicine, neural therapy, homeopathy and naturopathic clinical oncology, among others. An advocate of scientifically backed natural treatments for cancer, Schottenstein hopes to use her experience and expertise to help more patients and change the way people look at cancer treatment.
“This is an exciting new phase in my career, and I could not be happier to be part of this amazing team,” she shared. “I strongly believe in what Dr. Lodi and his team do, and I see a lot of opportunities to help them grow and reach more people.”
Lodi added, “The only requirement that we really have is ‘Do you want to live?’ If you want to live, we’re going to be with you until the end, and that end is to your new beginning and new life. We’re grateful for the support that we’ve received this past decade. We have a great team, we have a supportive community and we’re ready for the next 10 years.”
