Award-winning artist to exhibit at art3f Monaco, receive the International Prize Rembrandt in Barcelona, and participate in the 18th edition of art3f Paris

-- Award-winning Argentine digital artist Hernán Simó is entering a new phase of his international career with three major forthcoming European milestones: participation in the art3f International Contemporary Art Fair in Monaco in September 2026, receipt of the International Prize Rembrandt in Barcelona in October 2026, and participation in the 18th edition of the art3f International Contemporary Art Fair in Paris in January 2027.

The sequence follows a period of growing international visibility for Simó, whose artistic practice combines contemporary digital techniques with spirituality, symbolism, Christian metaphysics, and emotionally driven visual storytelling.

Monaco: art3f International Contemporary Art Fair

Simó’s next international presentation will take place at the 7th edition of art3f Monaco, scheduled for September 11–13, 2026 at the Chapiteau de Fontvieille in the Principality of Monaco.

Part of the European art3f contemporary art fair circuit, Monaco will place Simó’s work before an international audience of collectors, galleries, artists, and art enthusiasts.

The appearance continues an international trajectory that accelerated following Simó’s participation in the Qatar International Art Festival in Doha in December 2025, where his work Rivers of Wisdom received the Best Digital Art Award.

During 2026, Simó expanded his European presence with Portal, a collective contemporary art exhibition in Barcelona, followed by Fragments of Light, his first international solo exhibition. In May, he presented Soul Journey at Select Art Fair in Crete, Greece, his first entirely self-curated exhibition. During his participation in Crete, he was invested as a Knight Commander of the Sacred Angelic Imperial Constantinian Order of Saint George in recognition of his contribution to the advancement and promotion of the Fine Arts.

Monaco represents another important step in bringing my work into dialogue with international audiences,” Simó said. “My goal has always been to create art that can communicate beyond geography, language, or cultural boundaries. The themes I explore—faith, transformation, light, healing, love, and the search for meaning—are ultimately universal.

International Prize Rembrandt in Barcelona

Following Monaco, Simó will travel to Barcelona to receive the International Prize Rembrandt, presented by Fondazione Effetto Arte.

Created as a tribute to Rembrandt van Rijn, the award celebrates contemporary artists whose talent, research, creativity, originality, expressive quality, and artistic vision demonstrate the capacity to make a meaningful contribution to the international art scene. The prize is curated by Francesco Saverio Russo and Salvatore Russo.

The official award ceremony will take place on October 31, 2026 at the Sala Aquarella Theatre in Barcelona. The prizes are scheduled to be presented by Francesco Saverio Russo, Salvatore Russo, and Sandro Serradifalco, Artistic Director of Fondazione Effetto Arte.

The recognition has particular significance within Simó’s artistic practice because of the central role of light throughout his work.

Light is one of the essential languages of my art,” Simó said. “I use it not simply as a visual element but as a symbol of consciousness, faith, revelation, transformation, and Divine presence. To receive a distinction created in tribute to an artist whose extraordinary use of light transformed the history of art is deeply meaningful to me.

As part of the International Prize Rembrandt program, his admitted artworks are also scheduled to be presented during the 6th Barcelona Art Biennial at the MEAM – Museu Europeu d’Art Modern, taking place from October 30 through November 1, 2026.

The International Prize Rembrandt further strengthens Simó’s growing record of international recognition, adding to distinctions previously conferred upon him as Best Digital Artist in Argentina of 2025 by Best of Best Review and Best Contemporary Artist in Argentina of 2025 by the Evergreen Awards.

Paris in January 2027

Simó’s European expansion will continue early next year with participation in the 18th edition of art3f Paris, taking place January 22–24, 2027 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.

The Paris fair will add another major European destination to an exhibition journey that has taken Simó’s work from Argentina to Qatar, Spain, Greece, Monaco, and France.

The progression reflects the rapid international development of a body of work created primarily from Simó’s studio in Mendoza, Argentina.

My international journey is growing, but the essence of the work remains the same,” Simó said. “I want to use a contemporary artistic language to explore ideas that have accompanied humanity for centuries: our relationship with the Divine, our capacity for transformation, the search for inner peace, and the possibility of finding light even within difficult experiences.

A Contemporary Digital Language for Spiritual Ideas

Simó’s artistic universe combines digital creation with sacred imagery, symbolism, emotional storytelling, and concepts inspired by Christian metaphysics. His works explore themes including faith, wisdom, Divine Love, purity, healing, peace, abundance, transformation, consciousness, and spiritual transcendence.

His sacred works include contemporary interpretations of Jesus, Mary, archangels, and other spiritual subjects, approached with solemnity and respect.

Rather than positioning technology itself as the subject of his work, Simó considers digital media a contemporary vehicle through which timeless spiritual, cultural and philosophical ideas can be transformed into immersive visual experiences.

His multidisciplinary background also distinguishes his artistic trajectory. In addition to his career as an artist, Simó has an extensive professional and academic background in law and business: he is an attorney licensed to practice law in both Mendoza and California, and a qualified Professor of Piano following twelve years of formal musical study in Mendoza.

In this context, the upcoming Monaco, Barcelona, and Paris appearances represent the latest stage in a rapidly expanding international career and further establish Simó’s presence within the contemporary digital art landscape.

Digital Creation and Fine Art Collecting

Hernán Simó presents selected works as limited Collector Editions produced on museum quality fine art canvas. Each edition is hand signed, individually numbered, and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.

Alongside his limited Collector Editions, Simó also offers fine art canvas prints and posters at more accessible price points, making his work available to a broader community of collectors.

This approach reflects Simó’s view that digital art can function as a contemporary fine art practice with physical presence, collectability, and conceptual depth.

Technology is part of my artistic language, but it is never the soul of the artwork. The soul comes from intention, faith, human sensitivity, and the meaning I want the work to carry.
