Most attempts attach a chatbot or marketplace connector to existing systems, but he treated the problem as one of architecture and built the foundation to match.

Architecture Built For Reuse
He designed one reusable foundation that handles product discovery, catalog, inventory, pricing, promotions, cart, checkout, payments, loyalty, order management, fulfillment, returns, and customer care, which removes the need to duplicate that logic for each new channel. A new assistant, marketplace, or partner integrates once against this base instead of requiring a custom build, so onboarding work shrinks as the number of partners grows. This approach differs from point-to-point connections, where every link repeats the same catalog, pricing, and fulfillment work.
The design is protocol-agnostic and connects directly or through commerce and payment aggregators, supporting the Universal Commerce Protocol, Agent-to-Agent communication, the Agent Payment Protocol, and the Model Context Protocol, along with conventional APIs, webhooks, and data feeds. Agentic standards are still settling, and the system does not depend on any single one prevailing, which protects the merchant from being tied to one technology or partner. Security and oversight were built in from the start through authentication, authorization, payment security, transaction controls, monitoring, and testing tools, so merchants keep authority over pricing, policy, payments, and customer data while selling through external routes.
