Saturday, March 9th from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the city of Fullerton, came together to support a great cause. The event was the first of its kind and had a fantastic turnout. Hundreds of people enjoyed fluffy hot pancakes, coffee, and orange juice while being able to experience famous former NFL like Rams players Ron Brown, Leroy Irvin, Chris Hale From the Buffalo Bills and Sherman Cocroft from the K.C. Chiefs.
"Over 400 pancakes were eaten", according to Standing United Founder Danny Lansdale.
Many families made their way over to the nearby Hooters to enter the multiple giveaways for a chance to win a signed football or a Harley Davidson motorcycle. All while music from the band Lou Lagoon filled the air.
All the proceeds and profits will benefit Take Back the Neighborhood and Standing United to help homelessness and people battling drug addictions.
Standing United personally gives thanks to The Los Angeles Harley-Davidson of Fullerton California for hosting the event on their property along with providing fantastic support. Other companies including Rockstar and Bootleggers to mention a few, also came out and showed their support.
