-- Air Apps, an independent mobile app developer behind Translate Now, announced that its translation app has been updated for iOS 27, Apple’s newest mobile operating system, as well as iPhone Duo, Apple’s first foldable iPhone. Apple introduced iPhone Duo and the iPhone 18 Pro lineup at its September 9 event at Apple Park in Cupertino.

The update follows a development cycle that began at WWDC in June, when Apple previewed iOS 27, including Siri AI, refinements to its existing Liquid Glass design language, and new capabilities designed for emerging device experiences. At its September event, Apple detailed iPhone Duo’s larger foldable display and multitasking capabilities.
According to Air Apps, Translate Now’s interface has been redesigned for iOS 27’s Liquid Glass visual language and adapted for iPhone Duo’s expanded display. When the device is unfolded, the app is designed to provide a broader view of conversation history during real-time voice translation and Hands-Free Mode sessions.
"Preparing an application for a new generation of devices begins long before the official launch. Our goal was to ensure that, by the time iOS 27 reached users, Translate Now already offered a fully optimized experience for all its new features."
The iOS 27 update for Translate Now will be available on the App Store beginning Monday, September 14, and can be accessed individually or through Air Apps One, a single subscription covering the company’s catalog of more than 38 apps.
Translate Now’s resizable layout for iPhone Duo will become available when Apple’s foldable device launches on Friday, October 23. Pre-orders for iPhone Duo begin Friday, October 16. Existing Translate Now users with compatible devices will receive the relevant updates through the App Store, with no separate setup required.
