The updates are available for Translate Now, with more coming soon to the company’s other portfolio apps. Translate Now now features a hands-free conversation mode powered by artificial intelligence. This functionality enables users to hold conversations in different languages without manual setup, improving usability for travel and multitasking scenarios.

Filipe Ferreira, Air Apps’ co-founder and CEO, says, “The users will notice a more modern and fresh interface. By following Apple's lead with liquid glass, we are providing users a familiar, native experience which will provide a comfortable interaction that works seamlessly into their day-to-day life.”

The development team updated its design system to reflect Apple’s new standards to Translate Now and will soon be available on other apps. Aligning with Apple’s software release schedule allows Air Apps to deliver updates as soon as major iOS versions are made available to the public.

Air Apps, which has surpassed 100 million downloads globally, confirmed that these updates will reach users across all markets, including North America, Europe, and Japan. The company is also developing a new platform, though details have not been announced.

Recent reporting from publications including The Verge, Business Insider, and The Washington Post highlighted iOS 26 as Apple’s most significant interface redesign in years, emphasizing transparency effects, refreshed system apps, and features like Visual Intelligence and improved messaging tools.
