Air Apps Announces App Store Feature for Translate Now and New iPhone Duo Layout

Translate Now’s selection for the App Store’s “Great on iOS 27” feature marks a milestone for Air Apps as the company expands the app’s interface and conversation features for iPhone Duo.

-- Air Apps, an independent mobile app developer, announces that its translation app, Translate Now, has been featured in the App Store’s “Great on iOS 27” editorial selection. This recognition follows an interface update for iOS 27 as the company prepares a resizable layout for the iPhone Duo.

This placement is especially meaningful because Apple independently selects which apps earn prominent spotlight in the App Store, with no option for developers to purchase visibility. It reflects a genuine endorsement of the creativity and effort behind Translate Now’s latest update.

“Being featured in the App Store is a meaningful moment for our team,” celebrates Filipe Ferreira, CEO of Air Apps. “We optimised Translate Now to fully adapt to the iPhone Duo's flexible screen, and this recognition makes all this hard work even more rewarding.”

With the iPhone Duo being released soon on October 23, Translate Now will have its user interface ready for this new device. The app’s foldable-ready layout, built on Apple’s Liquid Glass design language, automatically expands to take full advantage of the additional screen space when the device is unfolded. Users gain a wide, immersive view of their entire conversation history during real-time voice translation and Hands-Free Mode, making extended multilingual exchanges feel more natural and effortless without constant scrolling. This optimization ensures Translate Now is among the first translation apps fully prepared for iPhone Duo’s unique form factor on day one.

Air Apps is also among the first developers to adopt Apple’s new App Store preview standards, replacing traditional static screenshots with dynamic videos. This move reflects broader industry trends, as video previews can increase user engagement compared with image-only listings, prompting Apple to prioritize richer media formats that better showcase app functionality and reduce discovery friction.

Translate Now is available individually or through Air Apps One, a single subscription covering more than 38 apps. Existing users with compatible devices can access updates through the App Store, with no separate setup required.
