One of the more unusual aspects of AI Professionals University (AIPU)’s growth story is its operational structure. With a staff of just 12 employees, AI Pro University claims to operate at the level of a much larger organization – thanks to internal automation systems built with the same AI tools it teaches. According to Sam Blake, everything from customer onboarding to marketing campaigns is powered by GPT agents and automated workflows.
“We’ve built AI Pro University to be self-operating where possible,” Blake said in an interview. “Most of our internal systems, from client communication to course updates, run on AI. It lets us focus on product innovation and student outcomes, not admin work.”
This strategy appears to be paying off. While traditional education platforms rely on large support teams, AI Pro University (AIPU) has kept its operating costs low while maintaining rapid iteration cycles on course content. The model has attracted a customer base that includes freelancers, small business owners, and career changers looking for ways to generate income through automation.
