-- Webajans.com, an Istanbul-based software and digital solutions company, says the rapid emergence of AI agent commerce marks a structural shift in how businesses attract customers and process online transactions. The company adds that the websites best positioned for this shift will be those built to communicate with machines as clearly as they do with people.

The comments follow major payments infrastructure announcements. Visa announced a collaboration with OpenAI enabling secure, agent-initiated payments using tokenized credentials and spending limits. Stripe expanded its Agentic Commerce Suite through Meta and Google partnerships, allowing merchants to sell through AI agents. Adyen launched Adyen Agentic, covering product discovery, carts and payments. In July, the x402 Foundation began operating under the Linux Foundation to standardize how AI systems initiate and accept payments securely.
A July 2026 WARC and Omnicom PHD report, “From Abundance to Agents,” projects that global consumer spending facilitated by AI agents will more than triple from $944 billion in 2026, about 1.3% of global consumer spending, to $3.35 trillion, or 3.8%, by 2030. Brands will increasingly need to optimize for machine intermediaries and human audiences.
“For many years, businesses optimized websites primarily for human visitors and search engines,” said Koray Köylü, founder of Webajans.com. “As AI agents take on a growing role in product discovery and purchasing, websites will also need to communicate clearly with software systems that evaluate information before recommending or completing a transaction.”
According to the company, being “agent-ready” depends on machine-readable content, structured data, consistent business information, fast performance and accessible site architecture. These practices have supported search engine optimization; they now also shape how AI systems interpret, compare and cite businesses. Webajans.com includes structured data and AI search visibility (GEO) measures, within its client website infrastructure.
“The customer remains human, but the first visitor to many websites may increasingly be an AI agent,” Köylü added. “Businesses that improve technical clarity today will be better positioned to participate as these new digital workflows become common.”
Webajans.com views the shift as an evolution of digital marketing, not a replacement for human decision-making. Consumers continue defining preferences and purchasing goals, while AI systems assist with research, comparison and selected transactions. The company plans to publish periodic research on how AI systems surface and recommend businesses later this year.
