-- Brick House Recovery invites East Idaho residents to embrace winter wellness at the annual Slopes of Hope event, offering a complimentary day of skiing and mental health resources at Kelly Canyon Mountain Resort on March 4th, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
This community-focused event provides participants with free ski rentals, food, refreshments, and live music, while also featuring inspiring speakers and mental health and addiction resources. Slopes of Hope creates an environment where physical activity and mental wellness converge, encouraging participants to take a meaningful break from daily stresses.
"Slopes of Hope represents our commitment to breaking down barriers to both mental health support and outdoor recreation," says Jason Coombs, President of Brick House Recovery and Slopes of Hope Director. "We believe in the healing power of nature and community connection."
The event is made possible through the generous support of community partners including Idaho Toy Haulers & RV, Freedom Recovery, RHS, The Walker Center, Center for Hope, Bill's Bike & Snow, and Gateway Parks. Registration is required and must be completed by March 1st, 2025.
