Its decision to use Kickstarter for the European launch aligns with its history of successful crowdfunding campaigns. “One thing that has made international shipping possible is volume” Doug Costello, co-founder of Wyrmwood explains. “Shipping a single table across the ocean is very expensive, but shipping a few hundred across the ocean makes it a lot more feasible.”
The company has addressed potential concerns about shipping and customs by partnering with European fulfilment centres. This strategy aims to streamline delivery and reduce customer costs. "We have worked so hard to create the best experience for our European backers," says Ian Costello, co-founder. From production to delivery, we want to maintain the high standards our customers expect from us."
