There is a thin line between public policy and genocide. Social deconstruction by violence, early death, incarceration, homelessness, mental health and substance abuses are directly connected to enforcement of public policies such as racism, discrimination and exclusionary customs and practices to cause generational injuries.
Hear from real and upfront “Voices From the Street” by our subject matter experts, who will speak to the importance of integrating sports into the equation to motivate youth, and create culturally competent curriculum to stimulate participation and inclusion for all.
VOICES from “The Street” offer an opportunity for each to ask if we have a duty to know truth, a duty not to injure, a duty not to ignore, and a duty not to remain silent in the face of injustice. To ignore is to agree, to remain silent is consent. Discrimination is a prohibited war crime punishable pursuant to the United Nations Geneva Convention Article.
