-- In honor of Veterans Day, Adam Quenneville Roofing & Siding’s community outreach division, AQ Cares, in proud partnership with GAF, is honored to announce U.S. Navy Veteran Leo Pilares as the recipient of the 2025 Veteran Roof Giveaway.
Leo, a Navy veteran known for his service, humility, and dedication to his community, was chosen by public vote from among three outstanding finalists. He will receive a brand-new GAF roofing system complete with a Golden Pledge Warranty GAF’s highest level of residential protection and craftsmanship assurance.
“Leo’s story really struck a chord with all of us,” said Morgan Bennett, Marketing & Development Director at Adam Quenneville Roofing & Siding. “He represents the quiet strength and selflessness that define so many of our veterans. Being able to provide him and his family with a safe, secure roof isn’t just about roofing... it’s about gratitude, stability, and giving back to someone who’s given so much.”
The AQ Cares Veteran Roof Giveaway is an annual program designed to recognize and thank local veterans for their service by providing one deserving hero with a worry-free roofing system at no cost. The initiative began as a way for the company and its partners to give back to those who have given so much.
This year’s finalists included Leo Pilares (U.S. Navy), Scott Palmer (U.S. Army), and Timothy Bielecki (U.S. Air Force) each nominated by loved ones for their service and continued contributions to their communities. The finalists’ stories were shared through AQRS social media channels, and hundreds of community members participated in the public voting process to select the winner.
“We’re proud to stand alongside partners like GAF who share our commitment to honoring veterans and strengthening communities,” added Bennett. “Together, we’re doing more than installing roofs, we’re helping create peace of mind for the people who’ve protected ours.”
The roof installation for Leo will take place later this month at his home, with the AQRS team and GAF representatives on site to celebrate and document the project.
