-- Junichi Yoshida, an employee of T.M.G. Challenged Plus TOPPAN Inc. (T.M.G. Challenged Plus TOPPAN), a special subsidiary1 of TOPPAN Holdings Inc. (TYO: 7911), has been selected to represent Japan at the 11th International Abilympics to be held May 10-13, 2027. He will compete in the Creating Web Pages skill.
The International Abilympics is a vocational skills competition for persons with disabilities, featuring participants from 52 member countries and regions. Held approximately every four years, the event aims to hone the vocational skills of participants while fostering deeper understanding within the business community and society to promote the employment of people with disabilities.
Yoshida’s Background to Competing at the International Abilympics
As part of its diversity and inclusion efforts, the TOPPAN Group takes active measures to provide workplace environments where anyone can excel in their own way regardless of disabilities and actively promotes the employment of people with disabilities. Since establishing T.M.G. Utilizing the high level of expertise and experience accrued through his daily work, Yoshida competed in and won gold in the Creating Web Pages skill (event) at the 45th Japan Abilympics, held in October 2025. This secured him a place at the International Abilympics.

“Since joining TOPPAN Inc. in 2006, I have been involved in system design, development, quality control, and internal infrastructure management across various fields. After transferring to T.M.G. Challenged Plus TOPPAN in 2019, I have focused on website production in a number of capacities. I conduct web accessibility3 audits to ensure websites are inclusive for everyone, including people with disabilities and the elderly. I also create content for 'Rakuyuku,' a barrier-free information site. When it comes to the International Abilympics, I am proud to be an employee of the TOPPAN Group and I hope that by pushing my own limits, I can bring courage and hope to others.”
