Thai Union Group PCL, the world's seafood leader, has been honored with the 2024 Sustainability Disclosure Award by the Thaipat Institute. The award, which was presented to Ms. Pannita Suttisawad, Sustainable Impact Reporting Manager at Thai Union, by Mr. Woranat Piantham, Director of the Thaipat Institute, recognizes companies for their clear and transparent disclosure of sustainability information. The ceremony was held at Bangkok Art and Culture Centre.

The award highlights Thai Union’s commitment to comprehensive reporting on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance.

The Thaipat Institute evaluates companies based on three key criteria based on international frameworks such as Ceres-ACCA: Content Completeness (45 percent) Content Reliability (35 percent) Communication and Presentation (20 percent). The assessment reviews publicly available sustainability information, including sustainability reports, integrated CSR reports included in annual reports, or other formats like standalone reports, electronic data, online platforms, and infographics. No additional surveys or questionnaires are required for the evaluation.

This recognition underscores Thai Union's commitment to transparency and the continued progress achieved under its SeaChange® 2030 sustainability strategy.
