Temple Launched First Wallet Token on Tezos

On Wednesday, May 24, Temple Wallet received a major update, including the TKEY token release. Thus, the first wallet token appeared on the Tezos blockchain as TWT from Trust Wallet in 2020.

Temple wallet is the leading and most popular non-custodial wallet used for interacting with Tezos DeFi protocols, storing NFTs and tokens, and delegating TEZ. Temple was launched in 2021 and has received more than 250,000 installs to date.

Recently, the wallet received a major update that added iCloud and Google account creation, in-app swaps cashback, rewards, enhanced delegation options, and Temple Wallet Token “TKEY.” Also, a part of the swap fees is used to burn Temple Tokens. This was reported in the official MadFish blog by the wallet developers.

The token rewards users and promotes the Tezos ecosystem in general and Temple in particular.
